Check it out! Michael Nelson, of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 (MST3K) fame has actually started a couple of different projects and I couldn’t be happier! For those unfamiliar with the concept, Mike and pals dig into movies (with Rifftrax they riff on more modern movies, something they had been unable to do based on copyright issues during their MST3K days). So whenever a funny line fits the flick, they go ahead and dub over it. In the case of Rifftrax, you download an MP3 to your player and sync it with the movie. Or, you can burn it to CD and do the same thing, sync it to your video. On top of Mike, two familiar voices join him regularly, that of Bill Corbett (Crow) and Kevin Murphy (Tom Servo), both MST3K alumni. Go check them out at Rifftrax.

Another new project is The Film Crew, again starring these three but now they are asking the internet crowd which movie should be riffed. At this point, the just started so you get to vote for the first movie to be mocked by the guys. Right now it is between - Giant of Marathon, Hollywood After Dark, Killers from Space and The Wild Women of Wongo (I voted for Giant of Marathon). Check them out, these guys have some great material!
